EOSC Tripartite event | Greece
Athena Research Center and National Infrastructures for Research and Technology (GRNET), body of the Ministry of Digital Governance, are co-organising on Thursday, October 6 2022, at 09:30 a.m. (EET) the 1st Tripartite Meeting of the European Open Science Cloud in Greece (EOSC tripartite event | Greece).
The meeting is part of a wider pan-European initiative, part of the framework of co-shaping the future of the EOSC, which is a strategic priority of the European Research Area and follows the example of corresponding tripartite meetings held throughout Europe.
The aim of the meeting is to make the first "recommendations" of the main EOSC contributors (EOSC Association, European Commision, EOSC Steering Board) with representatives of the national scientific community (political leadership, research funding organisations, RTDI organisations, etc.) in order to start a meaningful dialogue on Open Science policies for Greece, the country's participation in EOSC, the role of national scientific infrastructures and the adoption of Open Science practices in Greece. The political leadership of the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs, the Ministry of Development and Investments, as well as the political leadership of the Ministry of Digital Governance have been invited to the meeting. Representatives of European Commission, EOSC-Association, Hellenic Open Science Initiative (HOSI), and the national representatives in EOSC Steering Bord (SB), as well as influential representatives of research centers, bodies and universities and in general the Open Science community of the country. Participation in the event is by invitation. The event will be broadcast live through GRNET's DIAVLOS Live Broadcasting service.
